I am a Mechanical Engineer with a background in manufacturing. I started in the manufacturing space in 2017 and focused primarily on process improvement and automation. I started doing more design work in 2021 and am enjoying learning from the broad array of projects and opportunities that Sigma Design provides.

How do you make people laugh?
I make people laugh by first giving them an environment to laugh IN. I want to make people feel comfortable and know they can be themselves, which in turn allows them to bring their own humor to the situation. Whether it be through some idle chit chat or organizing Culture Club social events, I strive to make everyone feel welcome and that they are part of the team. A rouge pun never hurt anyone either :D
If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
I'd be an electric mixer because I love bringing people together to create something great! I thrive in knowing what the right tool is to get that job done, whether its a simple whisk for some light mixing, or a bread hook for the tougher crowd.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
I have a planner that I like to decorate every week to be aesthetically pleasing with fun stickers and colorful pens. I break down my daily tasks into bite-sized chunks to make sure I'm keeping track of everything, and to give myself a little serotonin boost when I check off an item. Its a great way to stay focused and ensure nothing is missed when working on larger projects, or multiple at the same time.
