My background is Mechanical Engineering, process engineering, and light manufacturing. I have worked in both the industrial and commercial business sectors. I enjoy using CAD to design assemblies that solve problems. I have designed quantity = 1 prototypes and manufacturing tools to quantity 250,000+ commercial printers. Along with the CAD design, I need to get my hands on the product, build it, and learn how the design can be better for assembly. I enjoy using CAD?s analysis tools to do virtual evaluations of my designs for stress and heat transfer. The challenge of material selection has been a welcome task of discovery.

I would choose to be a computer because it can solve problems.
