Dylan Dynes

Engineering Technician

I'm an engineering technician with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. I have an extensive background in hands-on maintenance and assembly work, and have helped build hundreds of units in multiple projects over 2 years working at Sigma Design. The core values upheld by the company, the wide variety of products to develop and test, and getting to know the people involved with the company (whether they are co-workers or clients) are the best parts of my job and always keep me working to deliver high quality results.

Questions & Answers

How do you make people laugh?

I try to keep a light mood around the workplace, and I like to use my own life experiences to make conversations relatable and genuinely funny!

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?

If I was a tool, I would choose to be torque driver. While screwdrivers are universally useful in many different situations, they can also be misused and cause damage if handled improperly. A torque driver ensures that the proper setting is used to install a screw snugly, and lengthens the lifespan of any screw by preventing damage to its head and threads due to over-tightening.

What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?

I like to take 1 mile walks on my breaks so I can take my mind off the work I was doing while getting a little exercise.
