Mechanical Engineer
I am a passionate Mechanical Engineer currently immersed in the world of innovation and problem-solving at Sigma Design. I've held a variety of roles at Sigma Design, that have given me an appreciation for the dynamic teams and processes it takes to continue to deliver great solutions for our clients. My experience in process and product design enables me to create innovative solutions that optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product functionality and quality for Sigma Design and client projects.
My background is Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering. I have worked on projects focusing on new technologies in digital electronics, additive manufacturing and medical devices, as well as projects focusing on traditional technologies and basic functions. I enjoy working with a cross functional team to solve problems and overcome challenges. My wide breath of experience in both mechanical and process engineering allows me to drive efficient and optimized workflows, fostering quality from concept through production.

How do you make people laugh?
When the chance presents itself, I like to use a pun. I generally try to look for the best times to bring some humanity into interactions, allowing for more meaningful jokes and hopefully a boost to everyone's day!
If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
If I was a tool I would likely be a Lathe. Traditionally Lathes are capable of modifying or replicating themselves to be better or more capable, and also are used to create other tooling required for different types of tasks. I believe that a tool such as that mirrors my passion for learning new skills and developing to accomplish the task at hand.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
I use prioritized to do lists, as simple as just a Bullitt list, and as complex as a Gantt chart depending on the complexity of what I am trying to accomplish, adapting to the needs of the day. This allows me to be flexible while still getting things done.
