I'm a Marketing Specialist. What's my specialty? Knocking socks off. They could be heelies, crew, thigh high... it makes no difference. The speed and power of my sock knocking knows no bounds and cannot be contained. I will fight anyone who says otherwise. And I'll win. And I'll take their socks home with me to become lost forever in the walls of my dryer.
My work history has been varied. I've been a restaurant host, Film Producer, CNC Operator, Welder, Shipping & Receiving coordinator... Disparate. No throughline. I go where the wind blows me, or something like that. However, I've had a passion for visual arts and music since I was a little itty bitty baby boy. I moved to Portland in 2014 and found a job at Sigma Design in the Shipping Department. Rattled through a couple other positions here, and now I'm in Marketing.
There is never a dull moment at Sigma Design. It can be challenging, it can be exciting, it can be fun, but certainly never boring. I really value working with a team of people who are dedicated to each other's success, willing to take risks and go above and beyond to get the job done right.

How do you make people laugh?

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
A prism. I try to help people see things differently, and reveal the unexpected complexity and beauty in things, whether it's an object, a situation, or a person.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
Just getting into a focus hole is sometimes enough to save time later. Get things done. Listen to Kid A by Radiohead. Also Proxy Media saves a lot of time while editing video. Also Generative AI is a great creativity springboard.
