How do you make people laugh?

There's always opportunity for laughter whether it comes to work or not, it maybe something along the lines of joking about various requests in the shop or pointing out things that don't make sense.

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?

I would be a versatile multi-tool like a Swiss Army knife or a Leatherman. Much like a machinist who often needs to adapt to various tasks and challenges in the shop, a multi-tool embodies versatility, adaptability, and the ability to tackle a wide range of jobs with precision and efficiency.

Moreover, a multi-tool embodies problem-solving and ingenuity, qualities essential to the machinist's craft. It symbolizes the ability to think on one's feet, improvising and adapting to whatever challenges arise in the shop.

In essence, as a multi-tool, I would embody the spirit of adaptability, versatility, and problem-solving that defines the role of a machinist as they navigate the intricacies of their trade.

What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?

I utilize the Two Minute rule, If a task can be completed in two minutes or less, do it immediately rather than adding it to a to-do list.
