Questions & Answers

How do you make people laugh?

While I love doing silly voices/impressions and shock humor, puns are a safe office option. I take the Core Value of "Take time to laugh" seriously as we truly have a daily pun from a silly little desk calendar I got for Christmas. Whether folks read the daily pun and groan, laugh, or just shake their head, it's always a good way to lighten the mood.

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?

Excel is a tool right? I'd be the amazingly powerful, often under-utilized software Microsoft Excel! It's thousands of ways to organize data with formulas and functions to the endless ways you can format your data to make it *pretty* make Excel so exciting and enjoyable to use! I'd like to think that like Excel, I also have a huge range of skills and potential.

What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?

It may sound underwhelming, but I utilize the tools that are at my disposal, especially the most basic one, Outlook mail! The features to color categorize, flag, and organize inbox folders are so helpful. I also take advantage of the Outlook calendar to send me reminders for little things (the pop up windows are always a good reminder for if I get side tracked). Sometimes it's the little things that make a huge difference!
