Paul Brotherton

Quality Systems Manager

As Quality Systems Manager, I have helped to build and continuously improve Sigma Design's business processes and systems to improve our ability to meet and exceed our clients expectations. My diverse background in engineering, operations, and quality give me an appreciation of the needs of all the moving parts of an organization and to search for innovative solutions that work for everyone. What most attracted me to Sigma Design was the commitment to the core values and the "We Can Do It" head-on approach to tackling challenging problems and opportunities.

Questions & Answers

How do you make people laugh?

I enjoy relatable humor, through sharing funny stories or moments that can happen to anyone. I love a good pun, or a joke with an unexpected punchline. I particularly enjoy technology beats humans jokes. It happens to everyone.

If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?

A quality multi-tool - I like to think of myself as having a problem solving tool box and it's all about having and using the right tool for the right situation. Like a good multi-tool, I like to think I'm up to whatever task needs to be worked on right now, with a tools ready to be applied.

What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?

For me, nothing feels better than checking a box and saying done. So I build out checklists of tasks or requests that have been made, and try to check things off every day, even if it means taking large jobs and breaking them into smaller more manageable pieces. Checking those boxes provides a sense of accomplishment and progress towards goals.
