I came to Sigma Design with a Recruiting and Account Management background. I have worn many hats in my time at Sigma Design, including Marketing, Business Development, and Human Resources. As Vice President of Corporate Functions, I oversee all the teams that provide services to our organization to ensure we run smoothly. These include finance, human resources, business technology, facilities, safety, and quality. I also enjoy being part of the executive team that influences the strategic direction of the company. I am passionate about cultivating a workplace where people bring their best self and spark innovation.

How do you make people laugh?
When you oversee departments such as HR and facilities, the volume of opportunities for situational humor are quite high. I enjoy highlighting the absurdity of reality and pointing out the comedy within those relatable moments in life that we all encounter.
If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
I would liken myself to a garbage disposal. The work I do isn’t glamourous, but my teams can be relied upon to make sure everything behind the scenes is handled efficiently and effectively. I grind through the muck and blockages to keep the operation flowing smoothly.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
Really knowing the strengths and interests of individuals within my department allows me to be resourceful in how work is assigned. When I can align tasks to employees that are excited and eager to take on something new, we both win, and I have more time to dedicate to strategy.
