Curtis Steinbock
Senior Test Technician
As a Senior Test Technician, I pride myself in the capability to provide the very best test results to our clients. I bring design verification, failure analysis, process optimization, production engineering solutions and destructive quality analysis experience to the table. I get immense satisfaction from having a part in projects of all sizes and am thankful for the learning opportunities furnished to me by Sigma Design. The team I am lucky enough to work with is astonishing and, in my experiences, unrivaled anywhere else I have collaborated with likeminded people.
I look forward to my future here and all I can learn from so many well-rounded folks, in so many disciplines.

Questions & Answers
How do you make people laugh?
I try to make people around me enjoy their time more by keeping things light and fun. I often try to find common problems that someone else may have so we can potentially bond over laughing at our struggles. I believe this also opens a great door to use the positive laughter to potentially come up with great solutions.
If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
I would choose to be a well-designed multi-tool. Versatile and easily adaptable to complete necessary tasks. Compact in size but still rigid enough to be a useful tool.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
My favorite hack, if you would call it that, is to stay one step ahead of the game. If one takes the time to think of potential scenarios, they can sometimes ask questions or make difficult decisions long before they become an issue. This can be a huge time saver and typically costs very little to initiate. I would much rather take some time to ask a few questions in planning rather than wait until effected parties are hard to reach or progress has been made in the wrong direction.
