Isabelle Knighton
Project Manager
I was born and raised in the Midwest, but moved out to Washington in 2018 after graduate school. My masters degree is in Public Affairs and Administration, which I have put to good use in a variety of industries. I have experience ranging from local government, higher education, K-12 education, and most recently technology. I try to remain adaptable and explore opportunities as they present themselves because you never know what you might learn about yourself. My philosophy is to never close a door that is open.
Questions & Answers
How do you make people laugh?
I wouldn't say I'm the funniest person in the room... I tried to tell dad jokes once; he thought they were funny.
If you were a tool or piece of equipment, what would you be and why?
A hammer. It is classic, practical, and no nonsense.
What's your favorite productivity hack or time-saving trick?
People. I never expect myself to know everything, but I know who to go to. It's understanding my own weaknesses and other people's strengths.
I also love color coding, whether it's a different colored pen for specific topics or colored calendar meetings for different projects. You can never go wrong with that immediate visual input.
